Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Senior for a position in Grand Prairie, TX. This position requires a self-motivated individual driven to improve manufacturing processes and coordinate producibility issues between Technical Operations and Production operations. Duties include:
Working with operators to ensure work instructions are accurate and adequate to yield high quality products. Identify and provide necessary justification for new equipment to improve existing processes or provide new capabilities.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.

An active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain appropriate level clearance

Prior experience in one or more of the following: planning, implementing, testing, documenting, or maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS / GOTS components, elements, subsystems or systems

Prior experience with establishing functional and technical specifications and standards, solving hardware/software interface problems, defining input/output parameters, and ensuring integration of the entire system or subsystem

Process knowledge of activities such as ceramic grinding, machining, metal forming, welding, assembly, materials handling, robotics, and paint/coating systems

Knowledge of CNC machines, cutters, and fixturing

Proven results in process improvements utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools

Knowledge and ability to demonstrate the use of root cause analysis tools

Statistical Process Control knowledge

Knowledge of CMM and quality processes
Desired Skills:
Manufacturing background with shop floor experience

Lean Six Sigma training, i.e., Green Belt certified

Work instruction creation

SAP knowledge

Excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with being a team player

Active and Final Secret Clearance

Leadership and team management skills with adaptability to dynamic shop support needs
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
