Manufacturing Engineer Intern

This opening supports a variety of Production Operations Positions, i.e.; Manufacturing, Composites, Electrical CCA/Harness, Mechanisms, Machining, etc. within Lockheed Martin Space in various locations. Positions may require security clearances and be subject to security investigation.

Working with experienced engineers, will generate work instructions, implement improvements in factory floor processes and ensure that assembly, inspection and test requirements are met for hardware builds. Identify process improvement opportunities and designing/developing creative solutions to implement those improvements. Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required for this role.

This is for internship positions in the following locations: Littleton, CO, Santa Cruz, CA, Sunnyvale, CA, Stennis Space Center, MS, King of Prussia, PA and Courtland, AL.
Basic Qualifications:
Actively enrolled in a Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or other related degree program from an accredited college/university.

This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Experience or classroom knowledge of implementing process improvements, conducting root cause analysis, performing engineering design changes into manufacturing documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
