Provide day-to-day support to manufacturing operations to ensure quality, cost and schedule goals are met; Investigate, communicate, and solve design, producibility, and process related assembly issues as required. Define optimal material and product flow within the production work cell, taking into consideration the unique requirements of the customer. Generate and maintain detailed assembly work instructions including narrative, diagrams, photographs, attachments, and linked documents. Support the design change management activities. Analyze process performance and defect data and trends and help define and implement corrective actions. Perform and communicate non-recurring engineering activities during production start-up, which includes tooling and fixture design, development of machine automation programs as required, and configuration of the manufacturing bill of materials for manufacturability. Interface with technical counterparts in other organizations.
Basic Qualifications:
-Interest in lean manufacturing
-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists and create manufacturing work instructions to meet all requirements.
-Experience in resolving engineering, planning, tooling, assembly, and fabrication problems.
-Ability to work closely with design engineering, manufacturing operators, test, quality assurance and other operations support teams.
-Demonstrated capability to multitask in support of multiple concurrent programs and initiatives.
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-Bachelors degree in Engineering related field

Microsoft Office suite experience with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Desired Skills:
-Experience writing work instructions/standard operating procedures
-Experience in process improvement
