Logistics Management Analyst Sr - Special Operations Forces

Description: This individual will be the lead in Enterprise Logistics Operations'. Duties will include coordinating task order requirements with LOG personnel in MATCON, the warehouse, transportation, Repair and return, and LOG leadership. This candidate will perform analyzes and prepare reports to validate supply obligations. The candidate will ensure that the most efficient and effective processes are utilized in handling customer material. Responsibilities include coordinating program spares related task order requirements with all functional organizations, performing analyzes and prepare reports to validate supply obligations, monitoring expenditures, and providing estimates. Ensure that the most efficient and effective processes are utilized in handling customer material. Work in matrix organization. Plan, schedule and arrange own activities in accomplishing objectives. Maintain a complete understanding and application of business principals, concepts, practices and standards. Work with DOD systems. Understand DOD cataloging process and DOD logistics terminology. Read and interpret technical orders and illustrated parts manual and drawings. Work with Microsoft software programs. A current user of the GOLD system and its applications. Coordinate the Life Cycle Sustainment Management by providing logistical support to the program. This includes scheduling shipments or pick-ups with functional departments and completing required documentation for CONUS and OCONUS. Monitor and status equipment movement to include procuring the proper documentation to complete property transfers to the gaining entity. Coordinate and manage incoming equipment, assist with CAP Orders, and address issues when a discrepancy occurs. Complete SSAVIE requisitions and Trouble Tickets submitted by users in the field. Manage all equipment incoming from the field thru the Repair and Return process. Coordinate and manage the manufacture and application of UID labels to specified equipment/kits. Work effectively with the PMO and internal functional areas in taking direction, answering questions, and handling issues that need resolution. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of LOG processes.
Desired Skills: Ability to multi-task in a high tempo environment while balancing competing priorities. Knowledge of DoD Supply Chain processes and procedures and company practice
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to learn Department of Defense (DoD) logistics terminology. Take the lead, communicate well and provide direction. Must be proficient in Microsoft software programs in order to research, develop and create documents and presentations. Experience and a strong knowledge of applying database techniques for extracting querying and analyzing large amounts of raw data from various sources
