Industrial Engineer Intern

Description:This intern will be supporting F35 Industrial Engineering Team. Responsibilities will include Integration of functional Industrial Engineering solutions for execution of F-35 production ramp rates for assembly operations by analyzing and developing production plans and monitoring production health metrics.

The Production Operations Intern Program is intended to develop individuals capable of becoming productive members of a technical/engineering team within the Operations disciplines. Disciplines such as Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Material Operations, Manufacturing Operations, Facilities Operations/Engineering. Selected candidates will participate in training opportunities in communication skills and professional development. Candidates for this position are selected while actively pursuing an Engineering/Supply Chain/Operations Management related bachelor's degree and assessed by management as possessing requisite skills and abilities for development.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial or Operations Engineering from an accredited college.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of Production Planning

- Knowledge of Forecasting Methods (Learning Curves, Parametric Estimates).

- Knowledge of Statistical Analysis (Regression Analysis).

- Knowledge of Database Operations (Data Mining, SQL Statements).

Strong communication and problem solving skills. The ability to work autonomously when provided work instructions.

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of formal problem solving methodologies, and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

Desire to actively participate and support in production floor operations
