Description: Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance. Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields. Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Investigate root cause of failures/defects and implement corrective action to support continuous improvement. Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles, Work Measurements and Time Standards, Productivity and Performance management, Capacity Analysis, Simulation Modeling, Cost Analysis and Estimating. This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills: Electro-mechanical manufacturing experience, working knowledge of Facility Layouts, Design Software, Lean Six Sigma involvement, experience in Manufacturing/Union environment.
Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
Understanding of classical Industrial Engineering skills and techniques.
Demonstrated cost reduction experience.
Strong communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office. This facility requires special access and therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.
