Description:Provide Final Assembly Area support for basic Work Measurement, Process Improvement, Resource Planning and Product Development efforts. Assist in the analysis of process and product flows to improve overall system efficiencies.

• Conduct time studies and identify potential Cost Reduction efforts. May assist in the coordination and implementation of recommended improvements. Assist in Cost Performance analysis and Process Plan implementation.
• Lead team in Production and PMT support, and identification of process improvements.
• Facilitate Lean Six-Sigma events and management and implementation of recommended solutions.
• Generate and communicate data to support Resource Planning including Capacity Requirements, Manpower, Space Allocation, and Factory Simulation.
• Facilitate layout improvements (planning and implementation).
• Assist in Product Development and Proposal efforts through support of data gathering efforts.

Candidate will support the Fire Control Factory Final Assembly Area (Fabrication Operations) in the role of Industrial Engineer with emphasis on Manpower Planning, Cost Justification and Production Capacity Analysis.
Candidate must be customer-focused with good oral and written communication skills. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and work effectively in teams and with all levels of management.
Candidate should be a self-starter with demonstrated self-initiated goals and results

Primary responsibilities include: Resource planning to include Manpower analysis, Space Allocation, and Capital Equipment forecasts, and Facilities layouts. Job assignments will include Lean Six-Sigma leadership, Work Measurement, Trade Studies, and Cost Analyses and Material Handling evaluation for the Final Assembly Area.

Work Measurement tasks includes Labor Standards development and Operational Control Code analysis and structure. Requires participation in Performance Measurement Teams, Performance/Cost analysis and leadership role in process improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college
