Hardware / Electrical Engineering Asc Manager

Description:The Launchers Hardware Engineering Associate Manager will be responsible for the functional leadership of a team of diverse engineers within Engineering & Technology supporting all of the launcher design and production programs within RMS. This role is responsible for staffing, training, rewards & recognition, talent development, technical process improvement, cost estimating, communications, metrics, technical reviews, performance management, and the full spectrum leadership of the group. The manager will maintain and ensure compliance with hardware development processes and hardware engineering digital transformation (DX) of the team. This position requires the ability to work in an accelerated team environment leading the electrical engineering team for the Launchers Systems organization which includes MK41 Vertical Lunching System (VLS), Advanced Launcher products, and existing US & foreign naval programs. The selected candidate will work closely with the Naval Combat & Mission Systems Chief Engineering organization and demonstrate technical knowledge in the following areas:

- Electrical Product Design & Development
- Printed Wiring Board (PWB) Design; Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Design; Complex Cable/Harness Design; and/or Electrical Bonding & Grounding
- Product Integration and Test Processes

This position will be based in Moorestown, NJ with occasional travel to Baltimore, MD throughout transition with expected completion in 1st Quarter 2023.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
- The candidate will have demonstrated competence in employee development and leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams
- The candidate must have demonstrated experience with hardware development and a strong understanding of product development processes.
- The candidate must have demonstrated proficiency in earned value, schedule, cost and risk management techniques.
- The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills and be able to communicate at both programmatic and technical levels with subordinates, peers, senior management levels and customers.
- The candidate must have experience with cost estimating / proposal development.
- Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security clearance.

- Electrical Engineering Design
- Military product development and customer experience
- Working in a Lab Environment
- Printed Wiring Board (PWB) Design; Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Design; Complex Cable/Harness Design; and/or Electrical Bonding & Grounding
- Integration of hardware components
- Cost/control account management
- Knowledge of DX and ability to drive implementation of improvements

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
