H-53E PBL Phase II Asset Specialist
Description: Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Company based in Stratford, CT, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for military and commercial missions.
The H-53E Sustainment Organization encompasses key customer-facing roles with the responsibility to ensure support of Sikorsky's H-53E PBL's, Long Term Contracts, Basic Ordering Agreements and transactional programs designed to support the current Marine Corps H-53E fleet of heavy lift helicopters well into the next decade.
The H-53E Sustainment Team is seeking an experienced business professional to join the H-53E PBL Phase II Material Management Team as an Asset Specialist
The range of responsibilities includes but is not limited to:
1. Be the focal point and manage the coordination activities for Cherry Point Inductions and forecasting
2. Assist the Asset Manager in managing the Integrated Line of Balance (ILOB) for Phase II PBL Components, Cherry Point FRC-E inductions and Fleet replacement items.
2. Track and manage ILOB Metrics to support overall PBL Phase II Program operating metrics
3. Coordinate with Customer Support Organization, O&R, Operations and Supply Chain and Engineering to improve on-time delivery metrics PBL Phase II Components
4. Interface with USG customers/suppliers on a regular basis regarding PBL Phase II Components ILOB Status
The successful candidate should possess an entrepreneurial spirit, exhibiting professionalism, high energy level, significant commitment, a "roll up your sleeves leadership style," and demonstrated commitment to growing and improving a highly successful business.
The successful candidate will work closely with Customer Support, Operations, and Supply Chain to successfully execute contractual requirements, ensuring that customer urgent needs are effectively communicated and supported, and providing material updates, plans, delivery status, etc. to customers on either a scheduled or an as-needed basis.
Desired Skills: Supply Chain Management Production/Aftermarket/O&R experience a plus
Must be self-motivated, think independently, and have the ability to organize and prioritize a high volume of work
Successful experience and results in working within a matrix organization
Ability to effectively present information to public groups and senior level management
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in MRO material management and Customer support
Outstanding customer focus as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to apply Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) in daily activities.
Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
Working knowledge of SAP and other computer programs as required
