GN&C Engineer Junior Secret Clearance Littleton, CO
This position is in support of the Small Reentry Inertial Measurement Unit (SRIMU) for FBM Reentry. The candidate will serve as SRIMU data analyst and their primary responsibility is to provide post-flight analysis for the program's use of the SRIMU. This analysis typically includes, but is not limited to, reconstructing flight performance using Kalman filter to estimate accuracy and sensor error as well as aggregating and analyzing telemetry data for comparison across multiple organizations.
1.Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Aerospace or related discipline is required with 2 years of professional experience or a Master's degree.
2.Demonstrated understanding of inertial measurement units, space guidance and navigation control systems.
3.Ability to develop presentation packages consolidating inputs from multiple engineers
4.Demonstrated ability to communicate with and present to sub-contractors, co-contractors or government customers.
1.Active DoD Secret Clearance
2.Familiarity with the Kalman filter design and its application.
3.Familiarity with developing with FORTRAN and Matlab
4.Familiarity with navigation analysis in missile, spacecraft, or avionics applications
