Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a System Integration and Test Engineer to join our growing team at our Orlando, Florida site to support Flight Testing for a missile development program.

This role requires special access eligibility and to be considered you must currently hold an active Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

Supporting, Interpreting and decomposing requirements for test plan development.

Assist in test plan, test procedure and run card development for ground tests, captive carry events, and/or free flight tests.

Assist in the planning and execution of weapons ground and flight tests in conjunction with the USG, MFC System Test IPT, and Joint Test Force (JTF) team members.

Assist in Mission Success Reviews (MSR), Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and Flight Readiness Reviews (FRR) preparation for all phases of weapons developmental testing.

Generating test documentation (test plans, procedures, reports), troubleshooting issues, logging test results, and communicating with peers.

Ability to travel to test locations is required.

The Locale: Orlando is a great place to live and to raise a family. Central Florida offers lots of attractive residential housing options. The Greater Orlando metropolitan area is the sixth largest metro area in the southeastern United States. The climate here is warm and sunny all year long for the most part. Orlando is home to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Florida, and SeaWorld. Orlando is also home to the second largest University in the US, the University of Central Florida (UCF). Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1.5 hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

This role requires special access eligibility and to be considered you must currently hold an active Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.

Demonstrated experience with a weapon system development/flight testing program.

Ability to travel to test locations is required, typically once per month, but will peak around half time.
Desired Skills:
Experience providing real-time mission control room support and post mission debriefs.

Experience interpreting and analyzing test firing telemetry data.

Experience effectively communicating and reporting on discovered anomalies.

Experience actively participating in Test Plan Working Group (TPWG) meetings.
