Facilities Engineering College Student Intern

Performs assignments supporting the Facilities Management Team under the Operations organization during summer break from college attendance while enrolled in an accredited degree program.

Projects may include; working with the Project Management team to execute projects supporting our internal customers/programs meet their business needs. These projects may include program critical projects, modernization projects and critical infrastructure upgrade projects that increase the reliability of the campus.

Other projects may include project and construction management across all Bay Area sites.

This position requires special access to support the program and requires US Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications:
Actively enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree program in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Facilities, Facilities Project Management, Construction, and Industrial Engineering or other related discipline from an accredited college/university.

Desired Skills:
Knowledge of or classroom experience with; planning, program management; government and commercial industry practices, techniques and standards.
Project planning tools, computer assisted drafting, Autocad, Microsoft Schedule.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willing to work in the field overseeing projects.
