Description:Exciting opportunity to work on the IFG System Integration Laboratories (SIL) team, which is a part of the Labs and Technical Services (L&TS) organization. L&TS is responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery.

This position is for a Systems Engineering position assigned to the F-16 program. The systems engineer will utilize standard systems engineering practices to design F-16 complex hardware and software systems. Responsibilities includes developing requirements and processes pertaining to the implementation of large scale simulation support, specialty systems supporting F-16 development test and integration. The scope of activities may include requirements analysis, architecture and interface development, object oriented analysis & design (OOD), code & unit test, integration, support to formal test and delivery and participation in technical reviews and audits of products.

This position requires interaction, planning and coordination with multiple software development, aircraft engineering and data engineering/maintenance teams within the F16 program. Candidate will work with senior engineers and system engineers to provide documents to convey customer and supplier(s) requirement relationships.

Must be a US citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or related technical degree.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with F-16 Avionics systems, F-16 Vehicle systems and the systems supporting integration and test and debug.
Experience with the verification and sell off of a system to a customer through formal test events.
Experience developing system design/engineering documentation.
Experience with producing drawings and modification drawings in VISIO
Basic MS Office experience
A working knowledge of tools similar to a Requirements and Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM)
Experience with Agile Software Development and/or SCRUM processes.
Experience the various tools used for agile development (VersionOne, Dimensions, etc).
Tools used in debugging in the F-16 Integration environment.
Ability to work with functional experts and generate verification and validation plans.
