Electronics Test Engineer

Description:The chosen candidate will interface with project leads and
Software Engineers to design and develop hardware and
circuits for complex satellite test and measurement
hardware/equipment utilizing COTS and custom software tools. Perform hardware engineering best practices to
include: requirements analysis, documentation, design,
software/hardware integration and post-deployment
support. Have a solid understanding of
Electrical/Electronics Engineering circuit fundamentals
(analog, digital, mixed.) Participate and contribute to
technical design reviews and audits of design products.
This position requires interaction, planning and
coordination with cross-functional development teams,
internal and external customers across multiple satellite
and missile programs. Infrequent domestic travel may be required to support formal test and delivery.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer
Engineering. Analog, digital or mixed-signal circuit design
and simulation experience. A passion for integrating
hardware & software platforms. Familiarity with circuit
schematic tools and SPICE simulation utilities. Experience
using off-the-shell test and measurement instruments (OScope, function generators, power supplies, etc.)
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with system programming languages such as C,
C++, JAVA, LabVIEW, TestStand and Python.
Familiarity with microcontrollers, FPGAs and associated HDL
Experience with PCB layout, Eagle, Altium Designer.
Experience with RF test equipment.
