Electronics Engineer Staff

Description: Lockheed Martin needs extraordinary people who are passionate about working on cutting-edge design in the Aerospace sector.

This position is for a Lead Displays engineer working on the Fort Worth IFG Displays Team. Job responsibilities will include the development of Display products such as the Data Transfer Recording System. Activities will include supplier management, the support of system integration testing, development/review of detailed engineering documents for software and hardware release, financial analysis of planned team activities, development of estimates to complete, development of customer estimates, and generation of a slide presentations in support of customer briefings. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to work independently with limited oversight from team lead and manager.

The selected candidate will work in a variety of development areas including design, qualification, integration test, flight test support, verification, production, field support and supplier management.

Must be able to travel both domestic and internationally.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills: Past experience with digital recording systems or similar avionics development is strongly desired.

Experience with successfully leading/mentoring a technical team in avionics development is a plus.

Product Lead experience leading multiple team members with the development of cockpit avionics is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including spreadsheet,
scheduling and database applications; Excellent oral and written
communication skills and analytical skills. Needs to have the ability to
convey technical data and concepts in concise messages and presentations.

Experience and aerospace related education/background. System performance monitoring and evaluation experience. Electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with Test and Measurement Equipment; Scaled Agile Framework methodology; Root Cause/Corrective Action techniques.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience leading a team of engineers as a product/technical lead in avionics product development in a cockpit inhabited warfighter is required.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education,
