Electromagnetics (EM) Engineer

Description: The Skunk Works is looking for world-class talent in mission systems engineering to join the 75 year tradition of creating advanced aircraft.

This position requires an Electro Magnetic (EM) Engineer to use their technical, program, and systems expertise to design, develop, integrate, and qualify apertures and antennas for advanced aircraft. The candidate will define apertures and antennas specifications, data interfaces, perform communication performance analysis, system integration support and troubleshooting, and technical oversight over the system supplier.

The candidate must be effective working in team environment environments. Strong verbal and writing skills are essential.

Must be a US Citizen. Position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Selected applicant must have a Final Top Secret Security Clearance investigated within the last 5 years.
Desired Skills: Knowledge and/or experience in related theory, modeling and simulation, including:
• Antenna theory, synthetic aperture radar theory, radar waveforms
• RF communications theory, detection theory and statistics, optimal estimation theory

Expertise in radar modes and applications

Knowledge and/or experience in related technologies, including:
• RF electronics, analog electronics, digital electronics
• Control systems, including theory, design, and operation
• Integrated circuit design, engineering and use
• Semiconductor solid state physics related to detectors and waveguides

Test and verification experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor or above in an Engineering Discipline, Math, Physics, or related STEM Degree

Experience in one of the following:
Aperture and Antenna Design
Avionics Experience
Systems Integration
