Electrical Technician

Description:Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs varies complex builds to engineers drawing. Troubleshoots and tests products from work order. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
Understand engineering drawing and be able rout harness and test completed assembly upon completion. IPC-001 and IPC-620 certification necessary and worked to these standards in previous job. Some fiber skill would be beneficial. Travel on occasions and work overtime.

Candidate must be able do solder small components on boards, connector and varies other material. Cable routing in engineered tray to include small mechanical parts. Must have the know how use a multi meter.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
