Electrical Engineer Associate - Harness Design

Description:Duties include creating wiring diagrams and Harness Assembly Diagrams for C-130, C-5 and/or P3 aircraft; resolving wiring/integration related issues between the various avionics/electrical systems, validate/interpret/resolve wire harness routing issues, perform technical checks, and provide engineering sign-off on all new/revised manufacturing wiring documents (Wire Routing Documents (WRDs), Termination Aids (TAs) and Wire Harness Master (WHM) sketches). Additionally, responsible for validating/interpreting/resolving wiring harness routing issues, perform technical checks and provide weekly status reports to immediate IPT Lead regarding progress/issues on wiring related issues. Development of wiring from design to installation, and a liaison between Avionics Wiring Design and manufacturing Mockup to ensure wiring requirements flow from design to installation are processed in accordance to LM Aero Marietta's Specifications.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, hardware engineering, aeronautical engineering or another related technical field.

Basic concepts of electrical design and interpretation of wiring diagrams and schematics. Must be computer literate, self-motivated, Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Self Starter.
Desired Skills:
Strong communication and problem solving skills. The ability to work autonomously when provided work instructions Computer Aided Drawing (i.e. CATIA, AutoCAD, Mentor Graphics, etc..) experience.
