Design Engineer Senior

Description: Generate detailed engineering drawings for production of electrical and electro-mechanical support equipment. Generate parts lists, ensure documentation control, and configuration management. Release drawings and parts lists into documentation control databases. Interpret and finalize procedures and documentation products using MS Word and Excel products. Generate engineering models and drawings using solid modeling and 2D software toolsets for electrical, mechanical, and fluid designs.
Desired Skills: Proficient in PTC's Windchill and/or EPDM management and administration. Experience using Finite Element Structural Analyses tools and generating FEA analyses. Experience working production support activities with electrical and mechanical hardware. Checking drawings
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience using solid modeling and 2D software tools
Familiar with ASME Y14.5 and knowledge of GD&T. Ability to work independently within a strong team environment.
Ability to generate parts lists, ensure documentation control and configuration management.
Ability to release drawings and parts lists into documentation control databases.
Proficient in checking drawings and engineering artifacts to standards and requirements.
