Control Account Manager, CH-53K Ground Test

Description:The Control Account Manager has the
authority and accountability for Internal Fatigue and Bench Test control accounts within the Ground Test Integrated Product Team (IPT). The Control Account Manager is responsible for the development, definition, and management of the scope, schedule, and budget for the work contained in their Control Accounts. The Control Account Manager is part of the Program Management Team and will report directly to the Assistant Program Manager (APM).
Key Responsibilities Include:
Act as the primary Earned Value point of contact for the IPT on the assigned control accounts.
Manage Control Account scope, schedule, and
budget. This includes analysis of program data and
metrics to determine Control Account performance.
Develop Control Account variance reports per Sikorsky Planning and Control System Description
and program standard work for full criteria earned
value system compliance.
Using the CH-53K Risk and Opportunities process,
work with the APM, Deputy APM, Technical Lead,
Control Account Managers, and Financial Analyst to
develop plans to mitigate cost growth and develop
realistic Estimates at Complete (EAC).
Work closely with the Program Integration team and their Finance and PP&C analysts, to prepare for and present in daily CAM, Program/IPT level, and monthly DCMA surveillance reviews. This includes the running of weekly task execution meetings within the IPT.
Report status on key projects on a regular basis to
Leadership / Program Executives. Develop and
deliver presentations to internal and external
audiences including Sikorsky and NAVAIR. Resolve
internal management issues and escalate if needed.
Interface with other CH-53K IPT's to ensure all
elements of the Ground Test Program are correctly
reflected and maintained in their respective control
accounts.
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree w/ 2+ years of relevant industry
and/or functional experience with increasing levels of responsibility. MA/MS degree w/ 1+ years of relevant industry and/or functional experience with increasing levels of responsibility including experience in business management, finance, supply chain, engineering and/or program management.
Desired Skills:
Energetic, organized, and results driven, the Ground Test Senior Control Account Manager will have strong analytical skills. The ability to establish positive relationships with various customers, teammates and subcontractors is required. The individual will also have solid written, presentation and communication skills along with demonstrated success in utilizing Earned Value (EV) Management, developing and managing integrated master schedules, and performing critical path and financial analysis.
Execution of management of fatigue and/or mechanical testing of aircraft hardware and systems. Basic knowledge of aerospace testing.
