Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is seeking a contracts negotiator to be responsible for performing contract change negotiation duties associated with the UH-1N Replacement Program Support and Training teams. The contracts negotiator will be responsible for contract negotiation and formation, interpreting government acquisition regulations and policies, contract management, contract risk management, interpretation resolution, supporting proposal submission, and other duties as assigned. This includes crafting terms and conditions that appropriately define the work, advising management on contractual rights and the FAR and DFARS, developing negotiation strategies and leading the negotiation team, evaluating and mitigating terms and conditions that add risk, settling disagreements between the contracting parties, and reviewing solicitations and supporting proposal development.
The US Air Force UH-1N Replacement HH-60U aircraft will be responsible for guarding and protecting the nation's intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launch sites across the Great Plains. The HH-60U aircraft will also provide secure and survivable emergency transport to support Continuity of Government Operations transport in Washington, D.C.
Desired Skills: Graduate degree and specific experience in US Government contracting. Acquisition certificates, including the CFCM, CPCM, and CCCM.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and 10 years of experience or master's degree from an accredited college and 8 years of experience. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and strong organizational skills. Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
