College Student Tech Intern

Performs assignments supporting the Facilities Management Team under the Operations organization during summer break from college attendance while enrolled in an accredited degree program.

Projects may include; working with the Plant Engineering team to increase the reliability of the campus high voltage power distribution. Completion of site high voltage infrastructure survey. Assist with campus isolation switch design and implementation project. Work with the team in planning and creating electrical substation maintenance procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
Actively enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree program in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Facilities, Construction, and Industrial Engineering or other related discipline from an accredited college/university.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of or classroom experience with; planning, program management; government and commercial industry practices, techniques and standards. Project planning tools, computer assisted drafting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
