The F-35 Business Operations Senior Manager position:
Manages and directs a variety of matrixed cross-functional team members in new business pursuit and capture activities.

Partners with peers from program management and business development to align and unify cross functional team efforts to achieve Aero revenue and profit targets, while also balancing financial and execution risks in support of the Aero and Lockheed Martin CFO.

Responsible for leading and aligning the efforts of team members from business finance, strategic planning, business development, contracts and other professional staff ensuring contractual compliance, cost management, budget development and analyses, financial estimating, configuration management and proposal support.

Basic Qualifications:
1) Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college

2) Demonstrated experience leading teams or directly managing a team, officially or unofficially.

3) Experience building effective internal and external customer relationships.

4) Business acumen or contract experience
Desired Skills:
1) Experience with expert level functions of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, such as Excel Macros and Pivot Tables. Experience formulating charts and creating presentations.

2) Experience successfully leading cross functional teams with no direct reporting authority over those team members.

3) Demonstrated ability to execute a process while simultaneously leading the team through campaigns characterized by volatility, uncertainty, change and ambiguity.

4) Demonstrated understanding and/or working knowledge of LM Aeronautics' general financial principles.

5) Powerful network of trusted relationships within LM aeronautics Company, or demonstrated experience establishing such a network.

6) Demonstrated competence of major Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or Commercial Program contractual Formulation/Arrangements.

7) Demonstrated experience leading peers through "change management" cycles or work related projects.

8) Demonstrated successful experience operating in an ambiguous environment without complete data, complete requirements, stable environment, etc.
9) Experience managing, working within and maintaining functional and operational deadlines.
10) Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (orally, in writing, in formal presentations and other forums) with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
