The Electrical Engineer, ASIC, FPGA will provide electrical analysis, design, and development for cutting-edge Military Support Programs (MSP) Space Vehicle Simulator (SVS) team within Lockheed Martin's Space. Be part of a world-class program from early design through development, integration, test, and operations.

As a member of the Military Support Programs (MSP) Space Vehicle Simulator (SVS) team that develops and maintains tools and hardware for a variety of simulation platforms for multiple users as an integral component of the larger, complex system.

Perform circuit board assembly design, development, test, and maintenance. Perform Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) design, development, test and maintenance. Perform board and FPGA integration, integration testing, and user community support. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development lifecycle. Applies knowledge of system, hardware, software, and other applications and techniques. Corrects errors, conducts peer reviews, and ensures standards are met.

Supports engineering activities for integration and testing.
- Develop new SVS circuit boards and FPGAs
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise and perform hardware maintenance
- Integrate SVS hardware/software and MSP flight and ground software to support program test
- Provide a confident, knowledgeable interface to SVS users and answer technical questions as they arise

Must have an active Top Secret security clearance to be considered for this position.
This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

• Design and/or verification of FPGA and/or ASIC devices
• Demonstrated history of circuit board design (PCB)
