The individual will work with CATIA V5 and legacy analysis systems coupled with the LM Aero Rapid Conceptual Design suite of tools, using them to build aircraft configurations and execute conceptual design trade studies on multiple programs. Experience and a thorough understanding of aircraft conceptual design is required. The approach used by this individual will determine courses of action for multiple studies and must include, at a minimum, the following attributes: describing model assumptions, using the model to size a vehicle to established constraints, execution of sensitivity studies to requirements and technologies, and establishing fallback positions.
