Aeronautical Engineer Stf

Description: This position requires an Airframe Design Engineer to use their technical expertise to design aircraft structure and subsystems installations. The candidate will have a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field of aircraft structure design. The candidate will be responsible for layout and detail modeling of aircraft structure, structural assemblies, layouts and detail drawings using CATIA V5, participating in trade studies, creating and maintaining interface control drawings, and coordination with Integrated Product Teams.

Must be a US Citizen, position is located at a facility that requires special access. Active Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years
Desired Skills: --GD&T knowledge
--Airframe Layout Design
--CATIA experience
--Experience creating and/or modifying drawings
--Metallic and Composite design and fabrication
--Excellent writing and communication skills
--Experience with Microsoft Office (word, excel, powerpoint).
-- 5 or more years experience in aerospace design
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
--Bachelor degree in an Engineering Technical discipline
--Experience with Propulsion Installation
--Experience in aerospace or airframe design
