Responsibilities

  • Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
  • Translate requirements into trainings that will groom employees for the next step of their career path
  • Map out annual training plans for Management, Supervisors and Team Members and align with HR
  • Build annual training program and prepare teaching plans
  • Select appropriate training methods or activities (e. simulations,mentoring,on-the-job training,professional development classes)
  • Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions
  • Present train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
  • Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPls
  • Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals
  • Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions
  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior
  • Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
  • Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development
  • Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
  • Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
  • Submit reports on training activities and results
  • Responsibilities include communicating with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and


Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator,Trainer,Training Facilitator or similar role
  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a logistics / corporate setting
  • Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Experience with e-learning platforms
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in project management with strong attention to detail
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
  • Proficient in MS Office;working knowledge of databases and Learning Management Systems (LMS} is a plus
  • Ability to Travel
