Summary: This position's primary responsibility is to delight guests at the checkout counter. This is accomplished by understanding the unique needs of the guest through great relationship building skills. Once this is accomplished, we can meet their primary need while delivering a minimum of 9.1 customer survey average, and offering services that complete their Living Spaces brand experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Guest Engagement - Greets and engages guests through Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model and cashiering SOP.
- Training - Complete and demonstrate the ability to effectively execute to company expectations all new hire and ongoing training modules. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Living Spaces Furniture's Standard Operating Policies and Procedures (SOP)
- Onboarding training, including Learning Spaces courses
- Product Knowledge Training
- Store/Department Experience - Ensure that the department is "Grand Opening" ready by completing the operations daily task list.
- Zoning - Stays within their designated zone unless directed to do otherwise by leadership. Use the "one at counter" rule, facing the guest and ready to engage.
- Cross Training - Performs alternate job functions as directed by the Manager on Duty or the Sales Floor Leader. These include, but are not limited to, Fun Room, Sales Floor, and Hostess.
- Team ¬- Actively support and contribute to the Operations Team and store team to enable the entire store team to achieve revenue and survey targets.
- SOP - Adhere to all company standard operating policies and procedures.
- Complete other duties assigned at the discretion of management.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Typing skills (30 wpm)
- Basic computer knowledge
