Manager, Talent Development

The Talent Development Manager is responsible for creating and implementing training programs and overseeing the development of careers. Sets performance metrics, evaluates productivity, and helps workers create long-term career plans within an organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Consult with all levels of the organization including senior management to produce/execute learning programs consistent with outcomes defined with the business
  • Coaches and directs trainers who conducts web-based, and classroom training sessions utilizing a wide variety of principles and techniques; evaluates training effectiveness to ensure employees are enabled to effectively support, service, and/or, train our customers
  • Coaches and directs project and program managers to develop curriculums, administer the LMS and report on success metrics
  • Provide logistical support, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Master’s degree preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years related experience in the Saas space preferred
  • At least 5 years in a corporate learning and development role

Skills/Knowledge

  • Requires excellent listening, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a collaborative problem solver
  • Proven experience in providing coaching and feedback

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • Ability to use a computer, phone, and other office equipment
  • Ability to work a varied schedule
  • Ability to work with the public
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
