Program Overview: The Lincoln Center Internship is a paid hybrid (in-person and remote) internship for NYC undergraduates and graduates that helps train the next generation of leaders in Arts & Culture and beyond. The IT (Information Technology) Finance Intern will report to the Senior Manager, Technology Business Operations. The IT Finance intern will gain on-the-job experience working with team members from across Lincoln Center's Technology Services, Digital, and Finance teams.
Interns gain access to:
- In-person work experience within Lincoln Center's various sectors/verticals within the Technology Services, Digital, and Finance teams.
- Professional development that builds essential financial and office skills, like building spreadsheets, reports, data analytics, and various soft skills like communication.
- Community building that creates a trusted peer network with Lincoln Center colleagues
- Conversation Series that features leaders from across the sector including Lincoln Center and Intern Alumni, through engaging dialogues and Q&A sessions
- Special Events that make Lincoln Center the world's leading performing arts center
What you'll get to do:
- Be the main contributor to revitalizing our current budgeting process. This includes creating a new budget sheet, utilizing Microsoft Excel, that allows us to efficiently track and report out data for our multi-million-dollar budgets.
- Audit our Digital and Technology Services' General Ledger and P&L's (Profit and Loss statement) to flag any discrepancies and identify savings opportunities.
- Learn about the Technology & Digital teams and utilize that information to assist with budgeting for our needs.
- Participate during our budgeting process:
- Our fiscal year reforecast 2
- Budget submission for the next fiscal year
- Create documentation for our budgeting process, including our standardized account codes and invoicing process.
- Join team weekly and monthly meetings. Attend daily and weekly1:1's with your manager
We are looking for interns who are:
- A college student interested in Finance and Technology functions and opportunities within their respective major/studies
- Based in New York City or the Greater New York area
- We're open to interns across all majors including English, creative writing, marketing and audio/video (AV)
- Available to work in-person 21 hours per week from February 2026 - May 2026
- Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and tasks efficiently
- A self-starter who takes initiative, is detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or in a team
- Proven experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., data entry, formulas, basic analysis)
- Looking to work in a collaborative and innovative environment
