Department: Marketing Audience Development
Program Overview: The Lincoln Center Internship Program is a paid, in-person arts administration internship designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students seeking meaningful, real-world experience in the cultural sector. This program cultivates the next generation of leaders by offering hands-on work opportunities and access to professionals across the arts and culture field.
As part of this program, the Audience Development Intern will support efforts that engage new and diverse communities-particularly Spanish-speaking communities-with Lincoln Center's programming and mission. What you'll get to do:
- Support the Audience Development team in building and maintaining community partnerships across NYC
- Research and identify new audience segments and community-based organizations
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage underrepresented and Spanish-speaking communities
- Build connections with Latino/Hispanic cultural organizations, media outlets, and community leaders
- Assist with translation and localization of marketing materials and campaigns
- Help coordinate bilingual and community events, cultural celebrations, and grassroots marketing efforts
- Contribute to audience research, data collection, and demographic analysis
- Support digital engagement, including social media outreach tailored to diverse audiences
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and strategy sessions with internal teams and community partners
You'll be a great fit if you are:
- A rising college junior or senior, graduate student, or recent graduate with a background in the arts, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Based in New York City or the Greater NYC area
- Available to work 20 hours per week from September-December 2025
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- Passionate about engaging new and different audiences through the arts
- Curious and eager to learn about arts marketing and audience development
- Organized and skilled in time management and meeting deadlines
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiar with Monday.com and data analysis/reporting is a plus but not required
- A self-starter who thrives in collaborative environments and is excited to contribute creative ideas
