Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) serves three primary roles: it is the world's leading presenter of superb artistic programming, is a national leader in arts education and community relations, and functions as the manager of the Lincoln Center campus.

Now in its 51st year, the Mostly Mozart Festival was launched as an experiment in 1966 as "Midsummer Serenades: A Mozart Festival." The country's first outdoor music festival devoted its first two seasons exclusively to Mozart. Now a New York institution, the Festival has broadened its focus and has expanded to multiple venues.

The Temporary Seasonal House Program Coordinator will work in conjunction with the Senior Editor.


  • Gather and prepare program materials, including artist biographies, song texts, rosters, photos
  • Assist with editing programs and circulating proofs
  • Correspond with artist managers
  • Assist with proofreading and fact checking
  • Additional duties as needed


  • 1-2 years of experience in a writing and editing focused role
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and keep track of multiple projects
  • Interest in writing, journalism, and the performing arts; interest in classical music strongly preferred
  • Strong facility with Microsoft Word and Excel
