Event and Partnerships Marketing Manager

Our developer platform powers the mobile experiences for top brands like Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Steak ‘N Shake, Dunn Bros Coffee, Argo Tea & sweetgreen as well as powering the order-ahead and loyalty features of strategic partner apps like Chase Pay.

Summary
The LevelUp marketing team is looking for a passionate, talented candidate to plan an execute our event strategy and coordinate partnership communications. You will play an integral role in event management, public relations, and corporate communications for the LevelUp Agency team, which works with leading restaurant brands to build their experiences on the LevelUp platform.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate event planning and work with vendors to secure sponsorships, book equipment, manage orders and invoices, and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Identify and secure speakers, special guests, and entertainment for specific clients
  • Analyze the success of each event and propose creative new improvements based on attendee’s feedback
  • Work with partners and internal partnership team to create joint communications such as press releases, emails, webinars, case studies, etc.  
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends in order to generate effective communications
  • Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed, and serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with LevelUp’s tone and mission

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a B2B event management or PR role
  • Impeccable written and verbal skills
  • Event planning and promotion experience
  • Demonstrated track record of producing effective communication materials, such as press releases, editorial columns, and blog posts
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize needs, and manage their own schedule based on deliverables and expectations
  • Proficiency managing simultaneous projects and maintaining up-to-date timelines
  • Excellent presentation, communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills
