Looking for a sustainable career? Grow organically with Le Pain Quotidien!

We are a growing international restaurant company with over 200 locations in more than 17 countries worldwide. We take pride in creating an innovative menu with fresh seasonal organic ingredients from local growers served by passionate team members who not only love what they do but love what they serve! But our "organic and locally grown" efforts go beyond the counter too! We take pride in our ability to grow talent from within by creating an entrepreneurial environment for our leaders where they can flex their experience in ways that not only grow their business skills but also their "life" skills.

We are currently searching for an Assistant General Manager who can bring their experience to our communal table and adapt it to help us grow our brand. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, developing talent, and exceeding expectations! At LPQ, our leaders are expected to role model our 3 core competencies (building a high performing team, achieving measurable results and delivering a brand-worthy guest experience). In exchange, we offer a competitive total pay and benefit package and an opportunity to balance work and life without compromising your career growth.

Specifically, an LPQ Assistant General Manager will support one restaurant. They are responsible for overseeing front of house and back of house operations to deliver an exemplary guest experience. They train and develop others to be Service Managers and are responsible for successfully leading the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. In addition, Assistant General Managers play a vital role in maintaining store budgets and increasing sales to lead to a profitable operation. A successful Assistant General Manager at LPQ must be as comfortable supporting the retail counter and serving teams as they are picking up an apron and supporting our kitchen teams.

At LPQ, a good leader is able to achieve success by being able to:

  • effectively navigate a P&L-knowing how to translate financial reports and what "levers to pull" in order to maximize profit
  • effectively assess, hire and train talent to flawlessly execute their roles and deliver a brand-worthy experience for our guests
  • effectively develop future leaders in order to sustain growth and maximize results

If you are as passionate about people and food as we are, then LPQ may be the right place for you!
