Sr. Product Manager

You will drive the product the roadmap and product initiatives from inception through execution within an internal operations function. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, analysts, marketing and other cross-functional team members within the organization to build our next generation lending platform.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive research and analysis to find ways to use technology to automate and optimize process to improve customer experience and company profitability
  • Use that research to craft a compelling product vision and strategy
  • Evangelize your product vision to senior management and diverse stakeholders through research, shadowing, data analysis and the strength of your convictions
  • Plan, prioritize, and deliver achievable projects against that vision and strategy
  • Thoughtfully define and communicate project goals, requirements, and constraints
  • Manage the product development process from conception through design, build, release, experimentation, analysis, and iteration
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Risk
  • Suggest and lead changes in our organizational structure, execution, and systems
  • Be a partner to front-line leaders and employees as we think to reimagine their process: be curious, humble and a team player
  • Focus will be on Operations Process optimization, driving how both technology and frontline employees can deliver a simple, human and delightful customer experience

 

Experience

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in product management, strategy consulting, or business operations. Of this time, at least 4+ years of direct product management experience
  • A collaborative approach: Track record of delivering results with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Data-driven and iterative learning style
  • Bias toward action and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills with experience giving strategic presentations
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked at a rapidly growing startup, especially in fin-tech
  • Bonus if you have done process optimization and/or automation
  • Bonus if you have a technical degree (CS, EE, etc.) or equivalent work experience in a product development driven environment
