Strategy Execution and Quality Control Risk Analyst (Contract)

Lending Club's brand Enterprise Risk Department is seeking talented candidates for the position of Strategy Execution and Quality Control Risk Analyst for a 6 month contract to potentially going permanent. Based in San Francisco, CA, the candidate will be responsible for performing in-depth review on each quality control audit assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the underwriting and pricing audit operation to determine if the loan met our credit policy
  • Perform comprehensive quality control audit to determine if the loan met investor guidelines
  • Professionally communicate the results of reviews to corresponding stakeholders
  • Analyze audit results and build periodic quality control reports and make recommendations as to appropriate corrective action
  • Manage stakeholder relations to ensure efficiency of the operation

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering or other quantitative field
  • 1-2 years of experience with respect to the investment or financial services industry
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL for practical applications using multi-terabyte data on Oracle, Teradata, Hive or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidate must have excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • A collaborator with dedication and willingness to learn and adjust in a fast-paced working environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of personal loan underwriting procedure
  • Python/SAS/R for data processing and statistical analysis
