Sr Analyst, Operations Analytics

Your Role

  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis to enable data-driven decision making and empower our Operations teams while create a better experience for our customers
  • Typical projects include identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience, increase turnaround speed and optimize resource allocation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze problems, derive insights and implement solutions
  • Anticipate and solve for the next 3 questions, not just the task at hand; similarly, build self-service tools and dashboards that will be relevant next year, not just tomorrow
  • Take projects from conception, through research, implementation and presenting insights to leadership team and key stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proactive & Thorough – Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
  • Analytical thinker – Choosing the most effective way organize and present insights to a given audience - be it senior executives or hundreds of front-line agents
  • Exceptional data management and quantitative analysis skills – Always looking for the most optimal solution to a problem
  • Great communicator – You're both comfortable conversing with our front-line agents to truly understand how our operations work, as well as making a convincing case to our executive team about how we should change


  • MS or BS in Computer Science/Engineering, or other quantitative field
  • 3+ years (5+ with BS) experience working with and analyzing large data sets to solve problems
  • Expert knowledge of SQL and a scientific computing language (such as R or Python)
  • Excellent proficiency in any data visualization tool (Tableau experience a strong plus)
