Job description:

Lending Club is looking to hire an Investor Operations Associate to be a part of the Investor Operations team. The Retail Investor Operations Associate supports the servicing of the Investor Services team who manages the relationships for Lending Club’s investor client base. In this role, the Associate will serve as a resource to multiple investment professionals and internal business units to support the sales efforts. In addition, the incumbent is expected to identify process improvement opportunities across the Investor Operations team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, team-based environment with the initiative to work independently.


  • Manage the ongoing document processing of all IRA transactions and special requests
  • Support Investor Services team with Manual Account creation requests
  • Assist with a variety of activities related to the daily operations of the Sales team and the Investor Services team (Managing ACH confirmations, Mail processing…)
  • Collaborate with the Investor Services team to develop and document standard operating procedures
  • Test and implement processes and internal controls (quality assurance)
  • Identify opportunities to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Investor Services team
  • Work on special projects as needed
  • Provide exceptional service and maintain a great relationship with our Custodian SDIRA Services and our Internal counterparts


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2+ years’ experience in a related role
  • Background/experience in Operations preferred
  • General knowledge and understanding of financial products and terminology (ie. IRA, Roth IRA, Roth conversion etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and balance team and individual workloads through effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service approach to problem solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in an environment driven by change and improvement
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with Salesforce a plus.
  • Attention to accuracy and detail.
