Operations Reporting & Analytics Analyst

Job Description: The Operations Reporting & Analytics Analyst will execute and support day-to-day operational reporting. In this role, you will employ quantitative analysis to enable data-driven decision making across our Credit, Fraud, Sales, Support, and Collections functions. Typical projects include identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience, increase turnaround speed and optimize resource allocation. This role reports to Sr Manager, Operations Reporting & Analytics.

  • Proactive & Thorough. Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations.
  • Analytical thinker. Choosing the most effective way organize and present insights to a given audience – be it senior executives or hundreds of front-line agents.
  • Exceptional data management and quantitative analysis skills. Knowledge of combining data from disparate sources for unified analysis.
  • Great communicator. You’re both comfortable conversing with our front-line agents to truly understand how our operations work, as well as making a convincing case to our executive team about how we should change.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering or other quantitative field
  • 2-4 years of work experience in a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank/PE/VC
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL for practical applications using multi-terabyte data on Oracle, Teradata, Hive or equivalent
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Tableau experience a strong plus
  • High-energy, positive team player that works well with others – this is a highly cross-functional role; egos are not welcome
  • R/Python for data processing and statistical analysis
  • Financial services experience a plus
