QA Auditor

The QA Analyst performs pre-close loan reviews at various intervals in the manufacturing process to evaluate the adherence to standards in each of the functional roles within LenderLive’s loan operations departments. The role is integral to the evaluation of loan performance on a transactional basis, as well as assisting in determining the adequacy of procedural support for operation (I,e, training information, job aids, desk reference materials, etc.).

Essential Functions

Identify and select files for review

Prioritize audits in a method consistent with meeting department objectives

Perform detailed Quality Assurance reviews for the assigned functional role evaluation.

Enter audit results into designated spreadsheets/ databases and complete necessary reports associated with findings

Identify process gaps related to QA selection and audit processes

Communicate audit results to associates and ensure corrective action steps are taken, as defined per client/business channel

Communicate audit findings to management and provide insight related to developing trends in performance

Collaborate with business units to determine effective communication of results, trends and training opportunities

Identify training opportunities for associates based on deficiency trends

Attend operations departmental meetings, as necessary

Perform related assignments as requested

Education

BA/BS or equivalent experience accepted

Experience

3+ years of residential mortgage operations/compliance experience

Proficient with TRID guidelines

FHA/VA/RD experience preferred

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Comprehensive understanding of TRID guidelines.

Knowledge of federal and state fair lending requirements

Apply logic to situations

Interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.

Ability to perform an in-depth analysis of a closing package

Multi-task, problem solve proactively and think creatively

Organizational skills with attention to detail

Perform according to standards and guidelines

Prioritize workload and meet deadlines

Strong knowledge of Closing process/procedures

Time management and problem solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Motivated, self-starter

Work independently as well as in a team setting.

Work under pressure

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work with the compliance department on internal audits/Quality Control
