Escrow Closer LLSS
The Escrow Closer Settlement Services works with customers and Title to ensure that transactions close, record, and disburse.
Verify that title requirements have been cleared and contact processor for outstanding requirements.
Review lender and/or seller closing instructions for preparation of HUD and accurately prepare HUD statement in accordance with those instructions.
Communicate and coordinate with seller and/or lender to obtain HUD approval.
Deliver all documentation needed for closing to witness closer/mobile notary/REO seller, or facilitate an in-house signing.
Manage documentation, customer websites, and correspondence for multiple closings according to scheduling priority.
Submit documentation on loan transactions for lender funding authorization.
Set files up for disbursement - scan documents, prepare recording worksheets, verify accuracy of documents for recording.
Send final documents to sellers with wire confirmation.
Update and maintain accurate records of all communication and steps to obtain necessary documentation in the company's computer system.
Perform other escrow related duties as requested.
High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred
Four (4) years title and escrow experience. Experience working in a paperless environment.
Demonstrated ability to work with a pleasant, reliable, and responsible approach to work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent phone etiquette & communication skills, both oral & written.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with scheduling deadlines.
High attention to detail.
Well-organized, with the ability to multi-task.
Self starter with demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision, work on multiple projects at once, establish work priorities, and manage time in order to
meet deadlines and goals.
Proficient in handling multiple phone lines.
