Description

The Leidos Intelligence Production Solutions Division currently has an opening for a GEOINT Analyst with Program Management experience to lead a cutting-edge team evolving the commercial geospatial intelligence mission.

Leidos is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking GEOINT Analyst to support the Program Management Office (PMO) by providing strategic direction, hands-on leadership, and comprehensive program support. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytic products and services that contribute to commercial intel mission, including the results of directed searches and detailed analytic reporting. The ideal candidate will not only support day-to-day operations but will also drive innovation by integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation tools to enhance the efficiency and scalability of production workflows. By leveraging emerging technologies, the GEOINT Analyst will help evolve the production team's capabilities-delivering measurable value to both the supported customer and Leidos-while ensuring all project activities are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and performance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and utilize resources to successfully staff and meet program objectives
  • Manage costs, schedules, reporting, and subcontract compliance
  • Verify and validate the quality, content, and prompt delivery of all task and contractual deliverables associated with the program
  • Submit weekly activity reports and monthly status reviews
  • Report all significant technical challenges, problems, issues, as soon as they are discovered to Leidos and customer management, as appropriate

Basic Qualifications

  • ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a program/project lead, preferably fixed price contract experience.
  • Typically requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 5+ years or prior relevant experience or Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Must have completed a certified GEOINT Analyst or IA/GA school or have demonstrated expertise experience in writing baselines to ICD X standards.
  • Must have either a Proven track record of innovation OR Direct experience leveraging coding or other emerging technologies to improve quality and efficiency (Experience in AMOD may be considered a substitution)
  • Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of all facets of Imagery exploitation and analysis to include the intelligence collection process.
  • Knowledge of soft copy exploitation functionalities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated history of innovation within the intelligence or geospatial analysis community, including the development or implementation of new tools, methodologies, or workflows that enhance mission effectiveness.
  • Proven experience leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), or automation technologies to streamline analytic processes, reduce manual workload, and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing programming and scripting (e.g., Python, R) to build or refine tools, improve data quality, and automate repeatable tasks-contributing to enhanced accuracy and faster production timelines.
  • Proficiency in developing, and running code-based notebooks (e.g., Jupyter, Google Colab) for data exploration, visualization, and analytic prototyping in support of mission objectives.
  • Demonstrated expertise as an analytic methodologist, including the design and implementation of structured analytic techniques, may be considered equivalent to completion of Intelligence Analyst (IA) or Geospatial Analyst (GA) formal training and therefore substituted as a requirement.
  • PMP or equivalent.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
