Description

Responsible for completing manufacturing assembly tasks, Assembly of mechanical and electrical components and general manufacturing duties. Ability to follow instructions and undertake tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to read GA and electrical control drawings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Technical

• Working in a production team and delivering manufacturing requests to meet department demands
• Ability to perform assembly tasks
• Ability to understating GA drawings and documentation.

Time Management

• Effective time management. Potential to change hours to suit department requirements.

Communication

• Excellent communication skills. Ability to understand tasks allocated and to work with the department team.

Team Working

• Role involves working with the manufacturing, stores and logistics team.

Cross Functional Working

• Continually build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve the successful completion of tasks.
• Adapt to roles within other departments to facilitate delivery of projects

Health & Safety

• Always follow and promote Group and Company policies and procedures
• Ensure all Company equipment and personal PPE is correctly used and maintained.

Requirements

• Good communication skills, Customer facing skills, ability to work on own, confidence to make decisions to overcome issues

Experience

• Proven experience of manufacturing / Installation
• Previous experience in a similar working environment
• Experience of working with other trades / teams to ensure project deliveries.

Qualifications

• Good level of general education
• Ability to use computers and understanding of Microsoft packages
• Clean Driving Licence
• Fork truck licence - preferred
