About The Role

Mid-Enterprise Sales Executive is responsible for acquiring net-new mid-enterprise customers and expanding Leanplum product offering to existing customers, to continue to fuel our rapid growth. This “hunter” role is focused on the most innovative mid-enterprise clients across various verticals including but not limited to Retail, Social, Travel, and Media. The role necessitates experienced SaaS sales professionals who are adept at senior management level conversations, navigating organizations, and on-site presentations. We look for individuals who strive to truly understand their customers' challenges and goals so that they can articulate business value and quantify business impact. 

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development Territory Plan in partnership with Vice President of Sales
  • Consistent achievement of quarterly quotas - meet or exceed quotas based on 90% net-new business / 10% existing upselling
  • Partner with Sales Development Representative (SDR) team to jointly prospect new business
  • Gain access to and build relationships with Economic buyers
  • Accurately describe Leanplum’s unique technical and business differentiators and how they achieve customer/prospect’s business objectives and solve key challenges
  • Quarterback sales opportunities from open to close, pulling in the appropriate technical and business resources along the way
  • Establish strong working relationships with internal partners to effectively navigate the full sales cycle
  • Accurately forecast opportunities to enable predictability of revenue goals

  • MarTech Experience
  • Mobile Experience

Requirements

  • Value-based, consultative selling experience
  • 3+ years of mid-enterprise SaaS sales experience
  • Proven track record of sourcing and prospecting new customers to build majority of sales pipeline in territory
  • A track record of exceeding $750K+ annual quotas
  • Experience closing deals ranging between $40K - $250k
  • Customer-centric
  • Demonstration of passion and perseverance
  • Quick learner and adaptable, able to pivot quickly in a rapidly changing environment
  • Passionate about technology
  • Knowledgeable about our space
  • Disciplined in following sales processes
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and build strong internal relationships
