The Account Executive is responsible for nurturing and closing new and upsell business at top accounts. Reporting to the VP Sales, Americas and Northern Europe, you will be selling to senior executives within the US, with contacts across multiple departments, C-Level executives and PR/Marketing agencies. You will benefit from our thorough onboarding and training program and have the ability to work closely with our Customer Success team in learning our products and clients before and while in the role.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work as an integral part of the US Sales Team to plan, prepare and execute sales plan for prospective clients
  • Responsible for determining and driving the strategy for allocated accounts to meet all targets and objectives
  • Target key potential clients to establish pipeline of opportunities
  • Establish and build high-level profitable business relationships within specified sales territory, including new business and upsell, and working closely with Sales Development Representative and Customer Success team
  • Maximize Fashion GPS revenue and margin across the full range of products and services
  • Submit weekly (or as defined by FGPS) goals and manage pipeline using Salesforce.com
  • Provide drive, energy and enthusiasm whilst utilizing strong strategic sales skills and business acumen
  • Possess a keen interest in the fashion industry and core products and a desire to continue development in these arenas
  • Actively be evaluating existing market to ensure Fashion GPS is aware of competitor activity. Relay information to VP Sales, Product Development teams, Customer Success and Marketing teams on activities and influence plans to maintain our competitive edge in the defined territories

 

 

​Key Skills / Experience:

  • 4+ years SaaS sales or direct fashion industry experience  
  • High energy, self-awareness and commitment
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual as well as part of a global team
  • Able to present confidently to an audience from all levels within a global organization
  • Track record in reaching and exceeding targets
  • Demonstrate an ability to cope with a complex and changing environment while projecting a positive sales attitude
  • Strong strategic selling skills and business acumen
  • Have excellent communications skills both written and in formal presentations
  • Have a collaborative working approach and be able to manage complex, multi-project accounts
  • Ability to control the sales cycle/destination of the sale with a strong closing ability
  • Strong pipeline management skills
  • Experience using Salesforce.com preferable 
  • Previous experience at a start-up favorable, not mandatory
