Director - Hospital & Health Systems

LabCorp has an exciting opportunity for a Director in our Hospital and Health Systems division. This individual will accomplish the following:

  • Adept at planning and implementing effective and aggressive sales and business development strategies, expanding markets, and exceeding established goals while meeting profitability objectives.
  • Effectively collaborates and communicates with internal and external customers to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Proactively recognizes emerging trends within the industry.
  • demonstrates an ability to influence key decision makers.
  • Develops long range sales planning and strategic direction in compliance with company objectives.
  • Supports corporate management staff and field personnel to ensure that sales policies and initiatives are targeted to maximizing market share.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field of study
  • 10+ years of experience in sales administration and strategic sales planning.
  • Support corporate management staff and field personnel to ensure that sales policies and initiatives are targeted to maximizing market share
  • Proven track record building long term relationships at a senior executive management level within National and Regional Healthcare organizations.
  • Results and performance oriented motivated by new problems and challenges
  • Exceptional negotiating, communication interpersonal and consultative sales skills.
  • Must be able to travel 30-40% within the United States

Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial Lab or Healthcare Industry background
  • Sales Management experience

Soft Skills
  • Ability to work w ith minimal supervision
