Job Description

Job responsibilities
  • Strategy & Governance
    • Support Media Manager in media strategy development across all channels (campaign level & annual planning) including platform best practices, ROI, Fit For Format, audience strategy, corporate commitment fulfillment, and media principles adherence.
    • Leverage data and insights, to inform current programs and plan for future initiatives.
    • Regularly evaluate and monitor strategy execution as planned.
    • Remain up to date with latest updates from major media partners.
    • Continue to proactively develop knowledge of the media landscape.
  • Campaign Management
    • Provide consultative strategic direction for brand teams on a day-to-day basis.
    • Secure connection strategy alignment among brands, media manager and agency.
    • Manage all media purchase authorization approvals, regularly track campaign execution as planned, manage feedback process.
  • Measurement & Reporting:
    • Responsible for monthly competitive spend reporting (Commercial Performance Review and Marketing Performance Review) and creative tracking.
    • Responsible for monthly media target reporting to senior management and global ABI teams.
    • Own quarterly responsible drinking budget tracking and proof delivery.
    • Support Data and Martech team on reporting dashboard development and media inputs.
  • Data & Martech:
    • Work with Measurement Specialist and agency to monitor data usage and performance.
    • Provide recommendation for optimization to brand team on regular basis.
  • Budget Management
    • Responsible for accurate monthly monitoring of media budget, processing billing, and LE forecast submission.
    • Routinely review media spend with agency for accuracy with billing and invoice processing.
    • Manage annual agency fee structure and submission across total portfolio.
    • Take ownership of budget discrepancies and problem resolution if issues arise.
    • Manage Labatt media tool (GMP) for tracking and insights of cost guarantee delivery and escalation.
  • ROI
    • Monitor quarterly ROI data submission in tandem with agency and ABI global analytics team.
    • Review detailed quarterly ROI result and provide action plan for agency and brand teams, run simulations with global analytics team, and continually optimize media mix and flighting.
    • Track ROI recommendation adherence with agency and brand teams and escalate any risks to target achievement.
    • Strategizes ways to most effectively use media dollars (traditional and digital) to the greatest benefit.


  • Job Qualifications

    • A University Degree in Marketing, Media, Business or related field
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in media on the agency or client side; related packaged goods, beverage goods, or beverage alcohol experience preferred but not required.
    • Must have experience planning and activating consumer facing marketing campaigns.
    • Must have a strong technical knowledge of digital media and digital advertising strategy.
    • Must bring a focused, detailed and disciplined approach to project management and budget management.
    • Deep understanding of media landscape and able to stay up to speed with the platform changes.
    • Ability to build insightful and impactful plans to address brand opportunities in all channels.
    • Ability to drive change and innovation on brand initiatives to ensure it drives the business toward growth while maximizing effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Strong analytical skills, experience with Marketing Mix Model is preferred, and strong problem solving skill.
    • Must be a team player with a strong ability for stakeholder management, natural collaborator.
    • Develop partnerships cross-functionally and leverage this to achieve team goals and deadlines
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage a wide range of projects. Organized and love working in a dynamic environment with multiple moving targets
