Location: Remote & Coppell, TX

KyotoCooling® provides mission critical air-conditioning and cooling solutions to large data center facilities. Founded in 2008, the Company has over 500 installations worldwide on five different continents. Our customer list includes three of the top five data center owners / operators in the world. The Company's headquarters are in Dallas, TX, with offices in Amersfoort, Netherlands; Norton, Ohio; Toronto, Ontario; Johannesburg, South Africa and Tianjin, China.

The Controller will be responsible for leading the accounting and finance functions of the company. The Controller must be a strong leader capable of scaling business processes to accommodate rapid growth. Individual must have experience working in a private, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

• Monthly close process, including developing standard procedures and reporting deadlines
• Monthly account reconciliations and analysis
• Develop standard reporting for executive and operations management
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of daily transaction processing (AR, AP, cash receipts, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, including guidance on implementing new standards
• Identify and improve areas of inefficiency
• Manage day-to-day cash needs and provide executives with timely cash flow reporting
• Timely tax filings in various jurisdictions (e.g., income tax, sales tax, VAT)

• Identify key performance indicators and implement reporting procedures
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and projections, including variance analyses
• Assist executives and management in setting business and financial goals, and develop reporting to track progress
• Provide financial analysis and input on key business decisions (e.g., capital investment, customer pricing, contract negotiations)

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
• Active CPA license
• 3-5 years experience at Big Four or second tier public accounting firm
• 10-15 years of relevance experience with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership/supervisory role
• Hands-on management and work style - successful individual will be both a leader and a doer
• Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Experience with tangible product distribution
• Experience with inventory and manufacturing procedures and reporting, including cost accounting
• Advanced knowledge of financial tools, including Office suite of products and ERP systems (previous NetSuite experience a plus)
