Summary
The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is a senior-level, client-facing role dedicated to driving the adoption, integration, and optimization of enterprise application solutions. This position combines deep technical expertise with consultative skills to assess client needs; design tailored solutions and deliver strategic value across diverse industries. The Applications Consultant serves as a thought leader, trusted advisor, and bridge between business objectives and technology enablement, providing guidance from ideation through implementation and beyond.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, executives, and internal teams to understand complex business challenges and develop comprehensive delivery strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Lead discovery sessions and requirements gathering workshops, leveraging expert facilitation techniques to elicit needs, pain points, and desired outcomes from stakeholders.
- Solve for end-to-end technology solutions, encompassing both off-the-shelf platforms and bespoke development, with consideration for scalability, security, integration, and user experience.
- Produce and present compelling proposals, solution demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (POCs), and technical documentation that clearly communicates the value and feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Guide technical teams during project delivery phases, providing oversight, best practices, and risk mitigation strategies throughout the software development lifecycle SDLC.
- Maintain deep expertise in leading healthcare payer and provider application platforms (e.g., Pharmacy, Lab, Electronic Medical Record, Imaging, Medical Device Integrations, Contact Centers, Claims, Provider, Sales, cloud-based solutions), emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, automation, analytics), and industry trends. Experience with Epic, Cerner, PDX or similar platforms.
- Actively contribute to the development of reusable assets, solution accelerators, and knowledge sharing within the consultant community.
- Support pre-sales efforts by collaborating with account executives, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and participating in client presentations and workshops.
- Develop client relationships built on trust, thought leadership, and consistent delivery of high-impact solutions.
- Continuously assess and improve processes, methodologies, and standards to ensure the delivery of excellence and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and professional growth within the team.

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in IT consulting, solution architecture, or enterprise applications delivery, with a proven track record of successful project leadership in complex environments.
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and integrating enterprise application solutions, such as Pharmacy, Lab, Electronic Medical Record, Imaging, Medical Device Integrations, Contact Centers, Payer, Claims, Provider cloud-based solutions, or custom cloud applications.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with senior executives and technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management, software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps), and modern integration patterns (APIs, microservices, middleware).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), SaaS solutions, and hybrid architectures. Experience with Epic, Cerner, PDX or similar platforms.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Epic, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Dynamics) are highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements and company initiatives.

- Epic Certification a plus
- Experience working in healthcare and technology industries, with a strong grasp of healthcare-specific processes, regulations, and challenges.
- Track record of driving digital transformation and application modernization initiatives.
- Ability to lead change management efforts in complex organizations, supporting clients through process and technology transitions.
- Advanced proficiency in business process mapping, requirements analysis, and solution blueprinting.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence without authority and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Compensation
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $173,280 to $329,280 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience. For part-time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California: $190,560 to $395,040
Colorado: $173,280 to $329,280
New York City: $207,840 to $395,040
Washington: $190,560 to $362,160
Washington DC: $190,560 to $362,160
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
