The Role
As a Unified Systems Operator at Kyndryl, you'll take on a critical role of monitoring, controlling, and maintaining cutting-edge systems across our expansive infrastructure environment. You'll be the key to providing innovative solutions to both technical and business challenges - ensuring seamless operations that push the boundaries of what's possible.
In this role, you'll become a trusted advisor to our customers, offering insights into best practices and resource utilization. You'll be vital in maintaining our infrastructure through monitoring and validating events and or alerts, executing preventative tasks and escalating potential outages or abnormal situations, applying a proactive approach to challenges.

As a Unified Systems Operator, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and specialists on projects and interact directly with customers to understand their needs - facilitating cohesive and successful partnerships.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide batch job support.
- Release agreed batch job per job sheet or adhoc request.
- Monitoring batch job status including overrun / msgw / not started / fail etc
- Reporting, monitor the batch job status and report to support team per instruction and raise ticket.
- Recover issue job per operation manual or instruction from pc/app team, including job rerun / force completed / on-hold / off-hold / release etc
- Provide system monitoring support.
- Monitor console and email to detect alert/event and do regular health check.
- Follow operation manual to determine whether next action required.
- Follow procedure to call engineer for immediate action , open incident ticket & assign to concerned team & send email
- Inform IPC & Management Team for major incident reporting.

Required Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years' experience in IT industry and 4 years of relevant experience in AS400
- Have knowledge of batch job run.
- Familiar with basic operations on platform Windows / Linux / AS400
- Have deep knowledge of infra system monitoring.
- Familiar with console monitoring tool like netcool / datadog / nagios / Dynatrace etc
- Familiar with job schedule tool autosys / Control-M /Quartz
- Familiar with ticketing system Service-Now.
- Follow instruction and operation manual strictly
- Able to work shift to support 24*7 service
- Certificates/Credentials of platform foundation
- Good working attitude and communication skill
- Ability to work under pressure
- Target oriented and self-driven
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields
- Windows Server certification
- CCNA/CCNP certification
